This is suitable for testing the quality of compression

joints, switch contacts and measuring the winding

resistance of transformers, motors and generators.

The E1620 is a full feature precision instrument in a

handheld case.

Safety fusing against mains voltages up to 240V AC.

Supplied complete with gold-plated Kelvin test probes.

In service for 45 years in mines, on petrol sites and in

hazardous areas e.g. in the presence of Methane,

Ammonia and Hydrocarbons.

This well proven design is a solution to carrying out

electrical safety testing in hazardous environments.

Use of this instrument in such environments should be

considered only by a suitably qualified and

knowledgeable person.

While this product does not qualify for Atex approval,

safety officers must evaluate the risks of failing to

perform adequate electrical safety testing.

The product is now only available for sale where the

intended place of use is outside the EU.
